Today I’m off to Paris for the weekend, courtesy of my very classy brother and his wonderful Christmas present to Jeremy and me. We hit some major medieval sites on our last weekend in Paris (Notre Dame, Sainte-Chapelle, the Catacombs, the museum of medieval history), but I think this time around we’ll go for slightly more modern fare: the Musee d’Orsay, perhaps, or the Rodin museum (I said slightly more modern fare). And, of course, food. Food, food, food. Patisseries of Paris, beware: I can eat more eclairs than anyone on the face of earth. And still have room for a plate of steak-frites afterwards.
