This is the sequel to Dogs of War, and while it’s quite different from its predecessor, it’s equally rip-roaring and very good in its own way. Many of the same themes are addressed here—what it means to be conscious, what it means to be “yourself”—but they’re tackled from another perspective, which keeps things interesting. A worthy follow-up.
