Everyone in the world needs to have one of these: an iSight. I’ve just spent two hours video chatting with my parents in Arizona - but I actually feel as though I just spent two hours with my parents, and I’m still giddy with the excitement of it all.

Webcams are nothing new to me, of course, and I’m quite familiar with video conferencing, even though I’ve never been in a video conference myself. I know that video phone technology isn’t at all new - but still, chatting by video over the computer with my family made me feel like I was in the Jetsons or something. It’s the wave of the future: today, video chatting - tomorrow, a colony on the moon!

Well, maybe not, but it’s certainly fun. And below, you can see to what good use we put this marvelous technology: making silly faces at each other across 5,000 miles.
