There won’t be any exceptionally long post on Wordridden today because I think I’ve used up all my words over on Principia Gastronomica.
Yes, the unthinkable has happened: I’ve updated the food blog I share with Jeremy twice in one month! This time around I’ve posted a course-by-course review of the tasting menu Jeremy and I enjoyed at Babbo when we were in New York at the end of July (and yes, I know I still haven’t gotten around to writing about anything other than the first day of my trip there…).
The Babbo experience was an unexpected treat, and I’m really pleased that I managed to take pictures of every course and remember what all the food tasted like so I could write up the review. The pictures were particularly helpful because I didn’t take notes on the evening, something I have done during other great meals Jeremy and I have shared; since we didn’t know we were going to end up having such an extravagant meal that night, I didn’t bring my trusty Moleskine with me. Moleskine: don’t leave home without it.
