Hot tips for weirdness

Well, we’re back safe and sound from our vacation in America. In one fell swoop we went from the furnace of Phoenix to damp, cloudy Britain. I had forgotten what it felt like to be cold. Blah.

In lieu of any fascinating insights into the workings of the world, I give you the following two tips. First, if you’re in the mood for a dark, funny, creepy and ultimately just weird movie about tangent universes and a sinister giant rabbit, then by all means go out and rent the film Donnie Darko (and check out that freaky website while you’re at it). Like Memento, it’s an intriguing, unique movie that should have received a whole lot more attention than it did.

And if sinister giant rabbits aren’t your thing but hypnotized, piano-playing chickens are, then perhaps you would be interested in reading this. The phrase "plucking out a tune" has suddenly taken on a whole new meaning.
