Clickable draggable space fun

As a child, my first real love was for dinosaurs. Well, it was probably for hats, or anything that I could put on my head and pretend was a hat (shower caps, cardboard boxes, my toddler porta-potty). The dinosaur thing hit me when I got a bit older, thanks in no small part to the August 1978 issue of National Geographic magazine (which I still have).

Eventually, my love for paleontology waned a bit and was replaced by a love for the stars - thanks, probably, in no small part to Star Wars. Astronomy turned out to be the more enduring love, and to this day I am filled with wonder and awe at all things astronomical and cosmological. So the stargazer in me found this NASA link pretty darn cool. Click on the satellites to see their orbits, drag the Earth around in three dimensions - and marvel at the amount of space junk that must be raining down on us daily from the very, very crowded skies.
