Thanks for them, these few poor books must feel clean again and will be allowed to get back among others on the shelves, without having to blush ;-)
What strikes me as odd is that they are not strip cartoons, or about basic principles in economics (am I being racist here?), you’d expect this category of readers to behave! Especially since it’s more or less related to what they do for a living - or a learning. Anyway, I suppose it shows how selfish people can get when they’re alone. It must have something to do with how different one behaves when driving vs in society in general.
But what I wanted to say is congratulations, this site is really well-done and enjoyable!

Would you be willing to make a world tour (maybe sponsored by Staedtler) ? :)
2
I would *love* to - particularly if I got free Staedtler swag out of it! ;-)

Is that Hindley or O Riagain? I swear I just read that passage last week.
4
Well spotted!! It’s Hindley - with whom I have more than a few issues… :-)
5
Well, so does Hilary Tovey….
6
And so does Éamon Ó Ciosáin, though I have yet to get my hands on a copy of his reply to Hindley’s book.

Good luck with the master’s degree.

Yes, I’m appalled that my fellow linguists would stoop to wrecking books this way! :-)
Thanks very much for the praise and good wishes - I’m glad you’ve enjoyed my site!
