Jamie’s Slang Dictionary

Friday, July 11th, 2008

I intended to write something more serious and in-depth today, but I’m too dang tired, and the New Zealand merlot we had with dinner (pizza: half chard and goat’s cheese, half ham and gorgonzola, all yummy) has gone straight to my head, so instead I give you this:

It’s Jamie’s Slang Dictionary, a short page on the Food Network site to help American viewers understand what Jamie Oliver means when he says something is pukka, wicked, or lovely jubbly.

I’m not sure how enlightening—or, indeed, necessary—it is, but it inexplicably cracked me up (made me laugh).
