Moan.

The good thing about working from home on your own is that, when you’re sick, you can sniffle, sneeze, hack, cough, moan, groan and generally feel sorry for yourself in private, without infecting anyone else, and it’s a nice short trip between your desk and your bed.
The bad thing about working from home on your own is that, when you’re sick, there’s nobody to cover for you, so if you’re in the middle of a big project with tight deadlines, unless you’re really on death’s door, you have to sniffle, sneeze, hack, cough, moan, groan and generally feel sorry for yourself while you slump in front of the computer and strain to produce semi-coherent sentences through a fog of snotty, phlegmy, achy lethargy.
Guess what I’m doing today.
