This is the sequel to Ithaca, and I enjoyed it even more than that first book in the series. It’s fast-paced with many moments of real tension and menace, and I appreciated the character development and the narrative arc—which ends in a kind of cliffhanger (an event that you know is eventually coming if you know the story of the Odyssey) that had me immediately searching for the final book in the trilogy, only to find that it won’t be published until the middle of next year. I’ll definitely be reading it when it comes out.
