Revelation Space by
September 2012
I was surprised by how much I enjoyed Revelation Space. The book had a very Iain M. Banks feel to it, right down to how some of the starships are named. I didn’t find all of the main characters particularly likeable, but their adventures were exciting enough that it didn’t really matter. There were some unique ideas and a very fully-realized and vividly described image of a future in which humans have colonized space—but things haven’t gone entirely to plan.
