I’m not a crime novel fan per se, but I do enjoy a good Arkady Renko story. I love how Martin Cruz Smith evokes a chilly Russia. It makes me really want to go back to Moscow. I didn’t enjoy Stalin’s Ghost as much as I did Wolves Eat Dogs, but I still found it immersive and exciting.
