Europe in Winter The Fractured Europe Sequence, #3) by Dave Hutchinson

October 2019

A kind of synthesis of the first two books in this series, with familiar characters coming together at last and new ones joining them. It starts with a bang (literally) and rolls on from there. It’s nice seeing seemingly unconnected strands of the story come together, and nice having those “a-ha!” moments when you realize who’s who and what’s what (though with a large cast of characters and constantly changing settings, I still found myself often wondering exactly who was who and what was what - but not in a bad way). A fun speculative-fiction espionage romp with a lot of frightening connections to the real world.
